About L'Alcôve Feutrée

L'Alcôve Feutrée is an independent site about tanks for mouth-to-lung vaping, often shortened to MTL. With this kind of draw the vapour is held in the mouth first and inhaled afterwards, through a tight airflow. That ground, and nothing else, is what we cover.

What we look at

Flavour first, then everything that changes it, from the airflow and its settings to the coil, filling, sealing and the capacity of the tank. Every piece starts from a practical question asked by someone who wants a precise, flavourful mouth-to-lung draw.

Who writes it

Articles are written by Justine Levasseur. She approaches every tank through taste, looking at what it does to an e-liquid, how its airflow is set and what upkeep it asks for.

The UK rules behind our figures

Our English pages are written for readers in the United Kingdom. Under the Tobacco and Related Products Regulations 2016, nicotine e-liquid is sold in tanks of no more than 2 ml and in refill containers of no more than 10 ml, at a strength of no more than 20 mg/ml. Figures quoted for other markets may therefore not match what is on sale here.
